This poem is beyond awesome, and is a shockingly great reminder of how we should behave. Apply it to yourself while you read, and ask if you belong to the Grumble Family. Also…you might notice the author is a certain “L.M. Montgomery”. I haven’t done any research on if it’s Lucy Maude…yes, THAT one…the one who wrote “Anne of Green Gables”???? Fun Fact: I’ve been to her houses in Uxbridge, Norval, AND the unpublicized one in Toronto…but not the one on Prince Edward Island.

Answer:

The Grumble Family

The poem ‘The Grumble Family’ is written by Lucy Maud Montgomery is about a family lived in the Street of Complaining. Nobody liked to meet them as they were always complaining. They were never satisfied with anything. They scold at every circumstances, be it about the sun rising or about the rain, about summer or winter. It was a well known fact that their growling never end. And if everything pleased them, there is no doubt, that they would grumble that there is nothing to complain about. Whoever goes and stays with them for a few days to become like the family of Grumble.

This poem talks about not being pessimistic in any situation. Nothing is perfect in this world. People have both positive and negative qualities. Life is nicer without fault finding. Our attitudes must influence others to live a better life.
