the theme of the poem NOT THE MARBLE , NOR THE GILDED MONUMENTS
is the poems and lines by William Shakespeare and the death of his friend are immortal . for instance , after four hundred years also we remember Shakespeare and his writings. even the monuments and pilgrims are destroyed by any storm or war , it is said that his friend's soul is never forgotten and thus these both are considered to be immortal.
