Fenugreek is called Methi in Hindi.
It is a semi-arid crop, and it is used in Indian and also in many other continental cuisines and even the nodes of fenugreek are used in pickles and in many other spicy foods.
At the same time, the thickness of the nodes varies as per the summer and monsoon seasons.
Due to water retention, the thickness increases to several millimetres during the monsoon, whereas during summer, the nodes shrivel up due to lack of proper moisture.
