There are a lot of or say trillions of stars in universe, some are in their last phase of life, and some have just borned. A star always makes some fuel. When a star runs out of fuel it becomes old and very massive say billions time massive than it's initial mass. After this much struggle and after living life of a bright star....The star explodes. This explosion of a massive star is called Supernova. Now what will happen after supernova let's discuss.

After supernova very high intensity of Gamma ray bursts are released, these rays can destroy all planets in a radius of mainly 10light years. After Supernova there are two choices for a star to live it's further life the choices are either to become a neutron star/ white dwarf or A Black hole.

How this is decided star to become black hole or neutron star = > After supernova there happens two things : the electrons and protons of the star gets collided due to high force and this collision makes all protons and electrons a neutron, now due to high gravity of star all the protons get close to each other and gets converted into a sphere of literally very high density called A neutron star. If the protons and electrons not collide the all the elementary particles or whole mass of the star collapses in itself due to high gravity. This results in formation of black hole in which a high mass is embedded in low volume,thus the density is high and this the gravity of the black hole is destructive that it can also bend light if light get into its event horizon.

Black hole curves the Space - Time fabric around it.

There is nothing in black hole but just the remains of the star that exploded in a very low volume, Because all the matter collapses in itself.
