Hertz (Hz) is the unit of frequency. 1 Hz is 1 cycle per second. The frequency of a sound is 50 Hz if the sound waves generated by a sound source changes direction 50 times a second. Imagine a sine wave for example.

EWAPAHUJA: hey!!
EWAPAHUJA: where is final answer
EWAPAHUJA: I mean what is time period
piyushkamlapuri74: A time period (denoted by 'T' ) is the time needed for one complete cycle of vibration to pass in a given point. As the frequency of a wave increases, the time period of the wave decreases. ... Frequency and time period are in a reciprocal relationship that can be expressed mathematically as: T = 1/f or as: f = 1/T.

Time period will be 1/50 i.e 0.02...

TIME PERIOD = 1÷FREQUENCY
