Given:-

  • Frequency of turning (v) = 200Hz

To Find:-

  • Time period of a turning (T) .

Solution:-

Frequency and Time Period are related as

v = 1/T

here

v is the frequency

T is the time period

Put the value ,we get

⟹ 200 = 1/T

⟹ T = 1/200

⟹ T = 0.005 s

The Time Period of a turning is 0.005 second.

Additional Information !!

Time Period: The time taken to complete one oscillation of the density of the medium is called the time period of the sound wave.

Frequency : The number of oscillation of the density of the medium at of place per unit time is called the frequency of the sound.

✧ Frequency is denoted by v (nu)

✧ Time Period is denoted by T .

AnswEr:

Given:-

\qquad\bullet\normalsize\sf\ Frequency(F) \: = \: 200hz

To Find:-

\qquad\bullet\normalsize\sf\ Time \: of \: turning(T)

Solution:-

\underline{\bigstar\:\sf{According \: to \: given\: in \: Question:}}

As we know that, Frequency is directly proportional to Time period;

\normalsize\ : \implies\sf\ Frequency(F) \: = \: \frac{1}{Time \: period \: \left(T \right)}

Put the known values in formula;

\normalsize\ : \implies\sf\ 200 \: = \: \frac{1}{Time \: period \: \left(T \right)}

\normalsize\ : \implies\sf\ Time \: period(T) \: = \: \frac{1}{200}

\normalsize\ : \implies\sf\ Time \: period \: = \: 0. 005 \: seconds

\therefore\:\underline{\textsf{ The \: time \: period \: is  }{\textbf{\: 0. 005 \: sec. }}}

Time Period :-

  • The time required to produce one complete wave is called Time period of the wave.
  • In other words, the time taken to complete one vibration is called Time period.
  • The Time period is denoted by letter "T".
  • Time period is measured in "second (s)".

Frequency:-

  • The number of complete waves produced in one second is called frequency of the wave.
  • In other words, the number of vibrations per second is called frequency.
  • Frequency is denoted by letter "F".
  • The SI unit of frequency is "Hertz".
