I was wondering how could you determine the period of the motion of two or more coupled oscillators. For example, two oscillators have the state variable equations: x 1 = A 1 cos ( ω 1 t + ϕ 1 ) + A 2 cos ( ω 2 t + ϕ 2 ) x1=A1cos⁡(ω1t+ϕ1)+A2cos⁡(ω2t+ϕ2) x 2 = A 1 cos ( ω 1 t + ϕ 1 ) − A 2 cos ( ω 2 t + ϕ 2 )
