\bold{\tt\red{QUESTION : }}

A ball is thrown upwards with 10m/s and it goes to the height 100m and comes down.

What is the time to reach the maximum height ?

\bold{\tt\purple{ANSWER: }}

\bold{\tt\blue{GIVEN:  }}

U = 10m/s

S = 100 m

V = 0 ( because of max. height )

A = -10 m/s^2 ( because ball is thrown upwards )

\bold{\tt\blue{FORMULA   USED:  }}

1st equation of motion :-

v = u + at

\bold{\tt\blue{</em></strong><strong><em>Solution</em></strong><strong><em> </em></strong><strong><em>:</em></strong><strong><em> </em></strong><strong><em>}}

Using the first equation of motion :-

V = U + AT

0 = 10 + ( -10)t

10 = 10t

t = 1 sec
