R2 = 15 ohm
R3 = 20 ohm
they are connected in series so equivalent resistance =
Rs = R1+R2+R3
= 5+15+20
Rs = 40ohm
V = 20v
current flowing in circuit (I) = V/Rs
= 20/40
= 0.5A
if light burned out then we wouldnt take resistance of light(which is 5 ohm) and thus Rs will be R2 + R3 = 15+20 = 35 ohm
therefore current = V/Rs = 20 /35 = .57 A
