what is the total energy of a ball the moment it throw from window 5.5 meter from the ground if velocity of the ball is 10meters/second .mass of ball is 50gram

Total energy of the ball = potential energy + kinetic energy

potential energy = mgh

= (50/1000) kg × 9.8 m/ s² × 5.5 m

= 2.695 joules

Kinetic energy = (1/2)×m×v²

= (1/2) × (50/1000) kg × (10m/s)²

= 2.5 joules

Total energy of the ball the moment it throws the window = ( 2.695 + 2.5 ) = 5.195 joules.
