Given : mandrel,   density is 7.8 gm/cm² and material cost is Rs.240 kg

To Find :  total estimation cost for mandrel,

Solution:

Volume of cylinder = πR²H

Volume of Mandrel

= π(30)²120  +  π(20)²(18 + 18)

= 10²π { 3²(120)  +  2²(36)}

= 100π ( 1080 + 144 )

= 100π ( 1224 )

= 384336 mm³

= 384.336 cm³

density is 7.8 gm/cm³

density  = mass / volume

=> mass = density * volume

=> mass =  384.336 * 7.8

=> mass =  2997.82 g

=> mass = 2.9978 kg

Rs.240 kg

Hence cost = 240 * 2.9978

= 719.5  Rs
