What is the total number of factors of a prime number?

SOLUTION ;  

Prime number : A number is called a prime number, if it has no factor other than one and the number itself.

We know that , prime numbers have only two factors 1 and the number itself.

Hence, the total number of factors of a prime number is  two (2) .
