and woman be 5x

. lets find population of children first

36 ÷ 2 = x

18 = x

simce x = 18.

population of town women will be 18 × 5 which is 90

now to find no of men

11 x : 3x

36 ÷ 3 = 12

which means in mens amount of children are 12 which is x

so 11x = 131

so population of town is 90 + 131 + 36
