The three sectors are : Primary , Secondary , Tertiary

1. most of the people of our country are employed in Primary sector it is because not enough job opportunities have been created in Tertiary sector.

2. Even though industrial industrial output or the production of goods went up by more than 9 times during the period but employment in the industry went up only 3 times.
The same applies with tertiary sector. While production rose by more than 14 times , employment only rose by 5 times.

3. Due to this , majority of people are working in the Primary sector. So even if u remove few people from this sector , production will not get affected. in other words workers in this sector i.e agricultural sector are under-employed .

Production is more in tertiary sector .

Generally at initial stages of development, primary sector was the most important sector of economic activity. As agricultural sector began to prosper, it produced much more food than before. People could now take up other activities. There were increasing number of craftpersons and traders. Buying and selling activities increased many times. Besides there were also transporters, administrators, army etc. However, at this stage most of the goods produced were natural products from the primary sectors and most people were also employed in this sector.

hope it's helped!!!!
