Total distance travelled will be sum of all areas under the curve from 0 to 50.

Total distance = (10)(50) + (1/2) (10)(50) + (1/2)(10)(50) + (20)(50) = 500 + 250 + 250 + 1000 = 2000 m

And total displacement = 500 + 250 - 250 - 1000

= - 500 m or 500 m in negative direction
