hey buddy !! here's your answer...

the total force on a particle in fluid depends on its mass , depth to which it has reached and most importantly the viscosity of the fluid.

the viscosity of fluid is responsible for viscous drag which is frictional force in liquids and decreases the velocity of object . it may happen that after sometime the body becomes suspended in the fluid.

hope it helps !! ❤️✌️
