A flat cornea is one cause of farsightedness. You can also befarsighted if your eyeball is shorter than normal. This causes light to focus beyond your retina instead of on it.

1. The curvature of surface of the eye lens, to be decreased due to its focal length increase.
2. The distance between eye lens nd retina to be decreased, diameter of eye ball decreased.
