Complete Question :- Refer to image.

To Find :- what is the type of the pair of m ∠b & m ∠c angle ?

Solution :-

we know that,

  • When two parallel lines are intersect by a transversal, the pair of angles formed on the inner side of the parallel lines but on the opposite sides of the transversal are called alternate interior angles .
  • Interior angles are equal in measure .

from image we can see that,

→ line l is parallel to line m .

→ line n is a transversal line .

As we can see that, both ∠b & ∠c are on the the inner side of the parallel lines but on the opposite sides of the transversal .

therefore,

→ ∠b = ∠c (Alternate interior angles.)

hence, the type of the pair of m ∠b & m ∠c angle is Alternate interior angles .

Extra :-

  • ∠c = ∠a (Vertically opposite angles.)
