Force can be defined as an interaction with the body which is unopposed and results in motion in it. A force can be applied on any object which has a certain mass to change its velocity or accelerate. It is a vector quantity. It can also be described as a pull or push. The unit of force is kilogram x meter/square second. This unit is called Newton. That is,  

1N = 1 Kg × 1 \frac{m}{s^2}.
