Hii mate....

Power is the reciprocal of the focal length in metres.

The unit of power of the lens is dioptre (D) and it is always expressed in metres.

Hopes it helps.

let f be the focal length of a lens

power of lens p=1/f(in m) p=100/f(in cm)

The unit power is dioptre

it's denoted by letter 'D'
