Relative density has no unit becoz it is the ratio of two densities.

it has no unit .....
ex..relative density of water and a solid
= (1g/cm^3)/(2g/cm^3)=1/2. ......................................Now.(g/cm^3 is cutted off)

so result is 1/2 as 1:2
