Universe is made up of matter, energy and light .

This is according to the cosmic cookbook given by Einstein.

Matter includes normal matter and dark matter .Dark matter makes up 95 percent of the total matter and matter is just 5 percent. Dark matter is an essential component of the universe ,but is still a mystery.

Everything is energy. It can't be made or destroyed. The total amount of energy remains the same .

Photons, the particles of light were born after the big bang ...when other forms of matter were forming(like electrons ,positrons etc).

It is widely accepted that the universe started with a violent explosion, the big bang and it expanded afterwards ;in 3 minutes after the big bang, everything was made and universe was doubling itself exponentially.

The galaxies and stars and other celestial bodies appeared when the gas collected at one place due to the intense gravitational force....
