what is the use of alfa beta Gamma in polynomials??? class X maths​

alpha , beta and gamma are used to represent the roots of the polynomial

They are variables just like x,y,a,g etc.

In the polynomials chapter they are used as variables for the zeroes of the polynomial

eg. if there is a polynomial f(x) = ax^3+bx^2+cx+d

Then, we can say alpha, beta and gamma are the zeroes of f(x).

It is not important that you use alpha, beta and gamma

you can use any other alphabet for tha zeroes like m,n,o etc.
