In general, compressibility can be explained as the change in volume per unit volume per unit change in pressure. This is most common in gases. Some of the real-life examples of compressibility is,
a) Methane gas is compressed to liquid form and stored in gas cylinders so that they can be used for cooking purposes.
b) The perfumes are compressed and stored in spray tins.
c) Airs can be compressed and filled in car tubes, cycle tubes etc..
