1-convex mirrors are commonly used as rear view mirrors in vehicles because they always give an erect image and have wider field of view as they are curved outwards.


2-big convex mirrors are used as shop security mirrors,the shop owner can keep an eye on the customers to look for thieves and shoplifters among them.

USES OF CONVEX MIRROR :

⏭️ Convex mirror is used as reflector in street- lights because this mirror diverges the light falling on it, so it gives a larger field of view.

⏭️ Convex mirror is used as rear view mirror in automobiles because,

➡️ It produces erect images of object in front of it.

➡️ The size of the image formed is smaller and therefore, has wide view of converge.

➡️ All images are formed between pole and focus.

⏭️ A convex mirror is used as a security mirror.

⏭️ Image is not formed beyond D in any case.
