The formula bar allows you to perform multiple commands within excel. This is usually in the form of a calculation. Different “codes” can be entered into it which can produce multiple outcomes such as the average of a set of numbers found within a document, the maximum number or the minimum number. It can also be used to perform most calculations that you can do on a calculator.
