OMR stands for Optical Mark Recognition. It's a technology developed for scanning different sources of media....
It checks the presence or absence of mark in a particular/ specific position... that's why examiner says us to mark all the blank spaces correctly....as the scanner matches the mark we do with the mark filtered....
The best example we usually see is in multiple choice answer sheets.... which utilizes OMR sheet...
So,we can conclude saying that OMR sheets are helpful for evaluation of different assessments....
