Hey friend here is your answer...... ⛄⛄
Answer :-
➡️ Xylem carries water and minerals upward from the root to the leaf while , phloem carries food manufactured by the leaves to different parts of the plant for utilisation and storage .
➡️ Xylem and phloem live together and form which is called a vascular bundle .
➡️ Xylem is a type of complex permanent tissue .
➡️ It consists mostly of dead cells .
➡️ Xylem cells are of four types
✴️ Tracheids
✴️ Vessels
✴️Xylem parenchyma and
✴️Xylem fibres .
✳️Tracheids :
➡️ These are elongated , tubular cells with tapering ends and thick lignified walls. Tracheids are dead cells and have an Empty cavity within their cell wall . These cells have pits in their end walls and Lateral walls . The pits in the end walls of tracheids help transport water and Minerals upward, while those in the lateral wall allow the conduction of water sideways between cells .
✳️ Vessels:
➡️ These are also dead, elongated, tube like structures with lignified walls . Vessels are made of cells called vessel elements or vessel members . These cells are arranged end to end and the partition walls between cells breakdown to form long tubes for the conduction of water and Minerals . Vessels also have pits in their lateral walls that allow the conduction of water sideways .
✳️ Xylem Parenchyma :
➡️ These are living parenchymatous cells that help conduct water laterally ( sideways ) and also store food .
✳️ Xylem Fibres:
➡️ These are dead sclerenchymatous cells that provide mechanical strength to the tissue .
Hope it helps you if it so please make it as brainliest...... ❤❄❤❄❤❄
