The utility of filters in datasheet are:-

  • Filtering is a useful way to see only the data that you wanted to be displayed in Access databases.
  • You can use filters to display specific records in a form, report, query, or datasheet, or to print only Certain Records from a Report, table, or Query.

Answer:

UTILITY OF FILTER IN DATASHEET

Explanation:

Filter properties (or in short, just filters) enhance or reduce the amount of data that is shown to the people who are viewing the report. This lets you focus on the data that best represent your information. This makes your reports more accurate to the audience. You can apply filters to a chart, control, page, or entire report using the Data Properties tab. Filter properties are sometimes called editor filters because they cannot be changed by the viewer of the report. They can only be set by report editors.

There are two types of filters:

  1. The included filter only retrieves records matching the conditions.
  2. The exclude filter only retrieves records that don't match the conditions.

Note that filters do not change your data in any way. They simply reduce the data that appears in the report.
