what is the utility of outbox and sent mail folder
Answers
In an email messaging software application there are folders called "outbox" , "drafts" and "entail". Their actual names may depend on the particular emailing software.
Drafts folder holds any unfinished emails which were interrupted due to an abrupt closure of application. Those emails could be resumed later on.
Outbox contains the copy of the email message that has just been sent by the sender. It remains there till the message is completely sent off the device using the network.
Sentmail contains the copy of the message after it's been successfully sent.
These folders allow users to reuse the messages and refer to them in future in case of need. It's a good design criteria.
