what is the valency of H2SO4

VALENCY OF H2SO4.
the H is +1 and there are 2 of them for a total of +2
The O is -2 and there are 4 of them for a total of -8
So the S has to be +6 in order to make the entire compound neutral
So then you have +2 for H, +6 for S and -8 for the O...

each H is +1, so +2 each O is -2, so -8 S is +6 valence all substances have a zero charge
