Step-by-step explanation:

Given:-

(1/1+cot^2 theta + 1/1+tan^2theta)

To find:-

What is the value of

(1/1+cot^2 theta + 1/1+tan^2theta)

Solution:-

Given that

1/(1+cot² θ)+1/(1+tan² θ)

we know that

Cosec² θ- Cot² θ=1

and Sec² θ- Tan² θ=1

=>(1/Cosec² θ)+(1/sec² θ)

we know that

Cosec θ=1/Sin θ

Sec θ=1/Cos θ

=>Sin² θ+Cos² θ

=>1

Answer:-

The value of 1/(1+cot² θ)+1/(1+tan² θ)=1

Used formulae:-

  • Cosec² θ- Cot² θ=1
  • Sec² θ- Tan² θ=1
  • Cosec θ=1/Sin θ
  • Sec θ=1/Cos θ
  • Sin²θ+Cos²θ=1
