(1+ cot² theta)sin²theta

 = (1 +  \frac{ { \cos }^{2}theta }{ {sin}^{2} theta} ) {sin}^{2} theta \\ =  ( \frac{ {sin}^{2}theta +  {cos}^{2} theta }{ {sin}^{2} theta} ) {sin}^{2} theta \\  =  {sin}^{2} theta +  {cos}^{2} theta \\  = 1
