6/x-3/y=10

in LHS take LCM as xy and then transpose xy to RHS

6y-3x=10xy.This is eq1

2/x-5/y=6

in LHS take LCM as xy and then transpose xy to RHS

2y-5x=6xy.This is eq 2

Do eq1-3eq2

In LHS 6y-3x-6y+15x

=12x

in RHS

10xy-18xy

=-8xy

12x=-8xy

y=-3/2

Put y=-3/2 in eq 1

-9-3x=-15x

x=3/4

1/x-1/y

=y-x/xy

=(-3/2-3/4)/(-3/2*3/4)

=-9/8*-8/9

=1
