What is the value of 2(5a – 1) + 2(6 + 7b) where a = 1 and b = 2a?

2(5a-1) + 2(6+7b)

10a - 2 + 12 + 14b

a = 1

b = 2a = 2*1 = 2

10(1) - 2 + 12 + 14(2)

10 - 2 + 12 + 28

= 48
