Hi ,

( 5 - 2 × 10 - 4 ) / ( 2 - 5 × 5 - 6 )

= ( 5 - 20 - 4 )/( 2 - 25 - 6 )

= ( -15 - 4 )/( -23 - 6 )

= ( -19 )/ ( - 29 )

= 19/29

I hope this helps you.

The value of (5-2 x 10-4) / (2-5 x 5-6) is 0.656

Solution:

We have to find value of (5-2 x 10-4) / (2-5 x 5-6)

Let use BODMAS rule

According to Bodmas rule, if an expression contains brackets ((), {}, []) we have to first solve or simplify the bracket followed by of (powers and roots etc.), then division, multiplication, addition and subtraction from left to right.

First we multiply the numbers

\frac{(5-2 \times 10-4)}{(2-5 \times 5-6)}

Now we add the negative integers

\frac{(5-20-4)}{(2-25-6)}

Now we subtract the obtained numbers

\begin{array}{c}{\frac{(5-24)}{(2-31)}} \\\\ {\frac{(-19)}{(-29)}}\end{array}

On cancelling the negative sign we get

\frac{(19)}{(29)}=0.656

Thus the value of given expression is 0.656
