we know that,

(a+b)² = +2ab+b²

and

(a-b)² = +-2ab

According to question :--

(+2ab+b²)-(-2ab+b²)

+2ab+b²-+2ab-b²

4ab

Hence,

Value of (a+b)² - (a-b)² is 4ab
