we have the formula, a^n-b^n = (a-b)(a^n + a^n-1 b + a^n-2 b +.........+ b^n)
replacing n by 0.5, we get the answer,
√a - √b = (a-b)(√a + b/√a + ab^2/√a + a^2b^3/√a +............... +∞)
or you can just do it like this if values of a & b are given,
let,
x= √a-√b
x^2 = a + b - 2√ab
x= √(a+b-2√ab)
i.e. √a-√b = √(a+b-2√ab)
