Given

⇒Point (5 , a)

⇒Equation :- 4x - 3y = 5

To find the value of a

Now we compare point  with

⇒Point(x , y)

we get

⇒x = 5 and y = a

Now put the value of x and y 0n given equation

⇒4x - 3y = 5

⇒4(5) - 3(a) = 5

⇒20 - 3a = 5

⇒-3a = 5 - 20

⇒-3a = -15

⇒3a = 15

⇒a = 15/3

⇒a = 5

Answer

⇒Value of a = 5

Now check our answer

⇒Take 4x - 3y = 5

Put the value x = 5 and y = 5

⇒4(5) - 3(5) = 5

⇒20 - 15 = 5

⇒5 = 5

LHS = RHS
