Hi friend,

(1)Now, we will calculate the value of a2+b2. The value of a2+b2 is equal to       4 + 4 = 8. So, a2+b2 = 8.

(2)(a+b)2 equals to (a+b)(a+b). so we will multiply a*a + a*b + b*a + b*b. So if you solve this you will get a2 + 2ab + b2.
