The value of absolute scale temperature is nothing but 0 K or -273°C .

  • This temperature is defined as absolute zero.
  • At this temperature molecular motion in the substance ceases
  • The substance has no further internal kinetic energy or heat to lose .
  • Thus no temperature can be lower than this
  • However scientist have invented something called negative temperatures .
  • Although hypothetical , these temperatures are below the absolute zero !
