Answer:

We know, tan (A + B) = ((tan A) + (tan B)) / (1 - (tan A) *(tan B))

Now, cot (A + B) is just it's inverse.

So, cot (A + B) = (1 - (tan A)*(tan B)) / ((tan A) + (tan B))

Now, multiplying both numerator and denominator by ((cot A)*(cot B)), we get:

cot (A + B) = ((cot A)*(cot B) - 1) / ((cot A) + (cot B)).
