3x+4y=-6________equ(2)

multiple 3 in equ(1)

3x+6y+12=0______equi first with multiple 3

3x+4y=-6______equ sec nd

subtract equ 1st &2nd

2y=6-12

2y=-6

y=-6/2

y=-3

now putting tha value of y in equ 1st

x+2y+4=0

x+2×-3+4=0

x-6+4=0

x-2=0

x=2

x=2

y=-3
