Answer:

First find value of f(16)= 4(16)-8=64-8=56

Similarly, we shall find f(0)=4(0)-8=0-8= -8

substitute the values in given equation

thus,

f(16)-f(0)= 56-(-8)=56+8=64

Given,

f(x)=4x-8

To find,

The value of f (16) - f (0)

Solution,

⇒  f(x) = 4x - 8.

To find f (16) we can simply substitute x as 16 in the given function.

Therefore,

⇒   f ( 16 ) = 4(16) - 8

⇒   f ( 16 ) = 64 - 8 .

⇒   f ( 16 ) = 56.

Similarly we can find f ( 0 ) by substituting x as 0 in the function f ( x ).

⇒   f ( 0 ) = 4(0) - 8

⇒   f ( 0 ) =  0 - 8

⇒   f ( 0 ) = -8.

Now,  f (16) - f (0) = 56 - (-8)

⇒ 56 + 8

⇒ 64.

Hence, The value of f (16) - f (0) = 64.
