Explanation:

g=GMe/R²e

calculation of value of 'g'

we are given,

Me=6×10^24kg,Re=6.4×10^6

G=6.67×10^-11 Nm²/kg²

therefore, g=6.67×10^-11×6×10^24/(6.4×10^6)²

=9.8 m/s²

therefore, g=9.8 m/s².

hope it will help you.

Derivation of Newton's Law of Gravitation :

It states that, acceleration due to gravity is directly proportional to the Product of masses of objects, and inversely proportional to the square of distance between objects. It is also called as Inverse Square Law.

Mathematically,

\implies \sf{g\ \propto\ m_1 m_2} \\ \\ \\ \\ \implies \sf{g\ \propto\ \dfrac{1}{r^2}} \\ \\ \\ \\ \implies \sf{g\ \propto\ \dfrac{m_1 m_2}{r^2}} \\ \\ \\ \\ \implies \sf{g\ =\ G \dfrac{m_1 m_2}{r^2}} \\ \\ \\ \\ \sf{Where} \small \begin{cases} \sf{m_1\ and\ m_2\ are\ masses\ of\ two\ objects} \\ \\ \sf{r^2\ is\ square\ in\ distance\ between\ objects} \\ \\ \sf{G\ is\ Gravitational\ constant} \end{cases}
