equation to be solved: 5m^2+2m+k=0 , and the root of this equation is -7/5(given)

therefore, putting the value of m=-7/5 in the equation:

=5m^2 + 2m + k=0

=5(-7/5)^2 +2(-7/5) + k=0

=5(49/25)+2(-7/5) +k =0

= 49/5+2(-7/5) + k=0

=(49-16)/5 + k=0

=33/5 + k=0

=hence, k=33/5

Think that alpha is - 7/5
Alpha +beta= - 2/5
Beta+(-7/5)=-2/5
beta = - 2/5 + 7/5
beta = 1

Alpha X beta = k
-7/5 X 1 =k/5
-7/5 = k/5
K= - 7

maheshchauhan7pczvu9: u can also solve by this method
