What is the value of linear velocity if w=3i-4j+5k and r=5i-6j+6k?

ω = 3i-4j+5k

r = 5i-6j+6k


# Solution-

Linear velocity is cross product of angular velocity and radius.

v = ω × r

v = (3i-4j+5k) × (5i-6j+6k)

v = -18k - 18 j + 20k - 24i + 25 j + 30i

v = 6i + 7j + 2k


Therefore, linear velocity is 6i+7j+2k .
