v all know that log a/b = log a - log b

so

↪ log 1/8 = log1 - log 8

↪ log 8 = log 2^3

↪ log 8 = 3log2

↪log 1 = 0

hence the answer is :-

log1/8 = - 3 log 2

log 1- log 8

as log 1= 0 nd log 8 = 0.9030
so answer will be -0.9030
