p/q = 7
⇒ p = 7q
p+q/p-q
= 7q + q / 7q - q
= 8q/6q
=4/3

Answer:

value of \frac{p+q}{p-q} =\frac{4}{3}

Explanation:

Given \frac{p}{q}=7---(1)

Now ,

value of \frac{p+q}{p-q}

/* Divide numerator and denominator by q, we get

= \frac{\frac{p+q}{q}}{\frac{p-q}{q}}

= \frac{\frac{p}{q}+\frac{q}{q}}{\frac{p}{q}-\frac{q}{q}}

= \frac{\frac{p}{q}+1}{\frac{p}{q}-1}

= \frac{7+1}{7-1}

/* From (1) */

= \frac{8}{6}

= \frac{4}{3}

Therefore,

value of \frac{p+q}{p-q} =\frac{4}{3}
