Ans. The permittivity of air or vacuum is 8.85 ×10^-12 C^2/Nm^2 and of water is 80,79,81,78 with respect to temperature. That of steel is infinite

hi
if ans is wrong sorry for it

The permittivity of free space (a vacuum) is a physical constant equal toapproximately 8.85 x 10-12 farad per meter (F/m). It is symbolized o. In general, permittivity is symbolized and is a constant of proportionality that exists between electric displacement and electric field intensity in a given medium.

Water (20 °C)
Permittivity e (C2.N-1.m-2)x10-12: 710
Dielectric constant Ke = e / e : 80

In other words, permittivity is a measure of how an electric field affects, and is affected by, a dielectric medium. Yes, metals have infinite permittivity as they completely negate the electric field inside their bulk. ... infinite resistance to setting up of field and hence infinite permittivity
